The other day, I checked the mail, and there was an envelope from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints "The Seventy" addressed to ME!! I double, triple checked, but sure enough, it was only my name! I was so surprised!! What a nice letter!!If you can't read it, here's what it says:

Dear Sister Ferguson:
We have been informed that your husband, Matthew, is serving in --------OPSEC-------- and has been meeting with other members of the Church at his deployed location. We appreciate your support to him and know you will join with us in asking that the Lord will guide and protect him during this time of uncertainty and turmoil.
In these troubled times, it is heartwarming to see members courageously step forward to help preserve our freedom and way of life. You can be proud of the part you play in supporting him in this important responsibility. Serving in a war-torn country is very challenging, yet he has courageously stepped forward and done a marvelous job. We express gratitude to you and your family for your selfless service and sacrifices in his behalf.
We have a deep and abiding interest in the welfare of Church members everywhere and want to ensure the blessings of Church membership are available wherever they are serving. We have worked hard to ensure Church services are available for both the contractors and service members stationed throughout --------OPSEC--------. This has been a daunting task with the constant turnover and relocation of members, but we have received wonderful letters from them expressing love and gratitude for the gospel.
We pray for the time when the gospel can be taken to all the world in preparation for the Savior's second coming. For those who are separated from their families at this time, may you find peace and comfort in Christ, the Son of God, who came to bring peace to all mankind if they would but follow Him. We know that the Lord is mindful of you and the challenges you face as Matthew valiantly serves in --------OPSEC---------.
