And now she's TEN YEARS OLD!!
Since Aunt Jeanelle leaves tomorrow, we decided to celebrate Kenzie's birthday last night, since today is Sunday too.
First, Jeanelle treated us all to a movie where we saw:
GREAT movie! If you haven't seen it, GO!After the movie, we walked across the parking lot to Chili's, where McKenzie had requested that we eat. We also met my friend Ashley and her two girls there too, because Ashley's oldest daughter, Macy, shares a birthday with McKenzie!!
Here are the kids working on the kid menu puzzles while we wait for Ashley & her girls:
Color that food pyramid!
Silly Daddy face:
Then I got another REAL smile out of him:
and he hates it when I catch his real smile, so he hid it:
Here are all of the kids, minus Natalie:
Mia, Matthew, Macy, McKenzie, & Nathan:
Jeanelle & Natalie
Little Mia has a little CRUSH on my little Matthew!
I CAUGHT her snuggling my kid!
She's so cute.
After Chili's, we ran back across the parking lot to Baskin & Robbins to pick up an ice cream birthday cake that I'd ordered for Kenzie earlier that day. I had them leave her name off of it so that we could share with Macy at our house later.
Here's the yummy ice cream cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream, and chocolate cake:
Then we found some candles that we bought a long time ago:
Here's Kenzie with her cake:
Daddy lighting the candles:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR McKENZIE
AND MACY...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOO YOOOOU!
Blow out the candles.....
Hooray!
Here's everyone eating their cake:

OPEN THE PRESENT
AND SEE WHAT'S INSIDE!
First, Kenzie opened a present from Grandma Sylvia.
$15 bucks and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups!!!
Then she got a Nintendo DS game from Jeanelle,
Nintendogs:
We already have a DS, so she was excited that she could play it in our old DS.
Next, was a present from us, a DS accessory pack!
(look at the excitement on her face)
She still didn't get it.......
WE BOUGHT HER HER VERY OWN PINK NINTENDO DS!!
Earlier that day, we opened the box and took the game out to charge it all day so she could play it when she opened it. But then we thought it'd be fun to trick her and wrap up the empty box and tell her that the store accidentally gave us a box with no game in it.
Here's the video of our mean trick:
Poor Kenzie!
She said, "I'm kind of in a bad mood now..."
She was disappointed that she didn't get to play with her game. Then Daddy ran upstairs and got it and gave it to her. She was VERY Happy!
Good Birthday!
She's a whole DECADE old! She's a very sweet girl, and we're blessed to have her in our lives. She gets her very own MILITARY I.D. now too! Daddy is going to take her this week to get it.
HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY SWEET LITTLE BABY KENZIE!
