The nice thing about year-round school is the short summer break.
Today was the first day of school for the kids!!
Here they are all ready to go to school with their heavy back packs full of school supplies:

So we waited outside for Daddy to come home from PT with the van, and then we all got in, and Matt dropped us off at the crosswalk and then drove around while took Matthew & McKenzie to their classrooms (it's tradition on the first day).
First up, was Matthew's classroom!
Room A-16 with Mrs. Hale!
3rd GRADE!!!
He found his desk!
Here's Matthew and Mrs. Hale
You say it like "Hail", instead of the Hawaiian "Hale" which means 'house' and is pronounced "Ha-lay".
Then we went to Kenzie's classroom!
Room B-10 with Mrs. Kim!
4th GRADE!!!

There was a bajillion people in Kenzie's classroom, so I just got a picture of her at her new desk:
ANOTHER exciting thing is that a little girl named Triniti from, Matthew's old soccer team, sits right next to McKenzie!! They'll become good friends now, I'm sure!
AND THAT WAS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
