A TRIBUTE TO OUR DAD!
Because it's Father's Day
we thought it'd be RAD
to tell the whole world
that you're the best DAD!
McKenzie was number one!
But little did we know
time was short for number two!
And 16 months later,
along came Matthew! 
He had a daughter and a son.
He was as happy as can be!
Three years later he found out
he was going to have THREE! 
Three kids was PLENTY!
He didn't even want anymore.
And I'm sure he'll tell YOU,
"Jen snuck in number FOUR!"
Our family was complete!
Two girls, and two boys!
We had no idea they'd bring us
such great joys!
The years went fast,
it was time to go.
So we made our first move
to Idaho!
When times got hard
he never put up a fuss.
Always working hard
to take care of us. 
But it was becoming too hard.
It was time to "Be All You Can Be!"
We knew that he needed
to be a Soldier in the Army!
But we DIDN'T know
what we had in store.
One year later, to the date,
he left for war.
He'd only been gone
to Iraq for two months
when he got to come home
for a 2 week visit with us.
They were the best two weeks!
We had so much fun!
But it went by too fast,
and then it was done.
We went to the airport
not knowing when he'd come back,
we said "goodbye" to daddy
then he went back to Iraq.
We didn't see him again
for 366 days!
I was alone again
with four kids to raise.
But the time went fast
He called every day on the phone
and then it was time
for him to finally come HOME!
We ran off the bleachers!
Wrapped our arms around him!
We were finally
a family again!
We cherish every second
that we have with him
because we know someday
he's going to leave again.
To selflessly fight in the Army
for our freedom and Nation,
which is less than 1/2 of 1%
of our whole population
We love our daddy,
because he's gentle and kind,
and silly, and goofy
a quick-witted mind!
There isn't anything
that he can't fix
and he's great at doing
lots of daddy tricks!
How'd we get so lucky
to get such a great dad?
He's the greatest Dad
that anyone's ever had!

Along came Nathan!!
Wow! We had Natalie and we were getting FAT!
Then Matt went to BCT and I exercised
and we both lost all that weight.
Then we moved to Hawaii and got TAN!
