USS Arizona Memorial

So we ended Matt's 2nd 4-day weekend in a row with a Bang! We went down to Pearl Harbor for Matt to see the USS Arizona Memorial for his first time.

We dropped the kids all off at their schools, and then headed down to Pearl Harbor. We were group #7 to tour that day. The tour is FREE, but they only hand out a certain number of tickets per day. I'm not sure how many groups there are, but they were calling group #12 when we left.

It's amazing every time we go.

While we waited for our group to be called, we visited the museum:

A bowl salvaged from the wreckage

A Japanese torpedo that hit one of the ships

A painting
Here we are waiting for our tour group to be called:

Awwwww..... we tried to make a 'heart' with our hands in the shadow
Not many captions are needed next.
Most of these pictures speak for themselves.

Ok, ok... CAPTIONS NEEDED:
Again, to our lovely tourists on what not to wear:

#1. Don't wear tight see-through white shirts
with a bra that's too small,
and booty shorts if you're nearing 200 lbs!

#2. Don't wear bright green underwear that everyone can see!

Ya gotta love the tourists!
