Preschool Graduation

Nathan & Natalie GRADUATED FROM PRESCHOOL today!
Our babies are growing up so fast!

We had a lei and bouquet of Hershey's Kiss Roses to give to their teachers
Miss Carol & Miss Liza.
They both loved the lei and flowers. It's a nice way to say Thank You in Hawaii.

Here's Nathan carrying his lei and kiss roses for Miss Carol (the teacher)

Natalie gave hers to Miss Liza (the teacher's assistant)

When we came back in the afternoon to pick them up, they asked the parents to come in
15 minutes early so we could see their Aloha Oe. (kinda like a final goodbye)
When I got there, they were eating their lunch... BURRITOS!

Here's the Nan playing with her food, as always:

Nathan was looking like he was done

But he loves them pears!

After everyone was done eating, Miss Carol gave everyone theirs leis!
(i helped cut out all of the flowers)
Here's Nathan with his lei:
And Natalie with hers:

My cute kiddies:

Then they all sat in the circle to sing
'the goodbye song' for the last time.
Here's a VIDEO of it:

After the goodbye song, (you heard Miss Carol say it),
they did 'the chicken dance' for the last time.
Here's the VIDEO:

I love how excited Natalie got!!!
So cute!

Then Miss Carol started passing out diplomas!

Here's Nathan accepting his diploma, t-shirt, toothbrush, and books she gave them:

And Natalie getting hers:

My good kids

YAY NATHAN!
It's off to Kindergarten for him
at Solomon Elementary!

YAY NATALIE!
It's off to another year of Head Start,
but closer to home this time!!!

Our last walk down the longest hallway in the world!!!
(their classroom was all the way at the end on the right)

They loved Head Start! It is such a good program! And it's all FREE too (depending on your income)! I dropped them off at 7:45am and picked them up at Noon. They fed them breakfast and lunch, took them on field trips, and taught them lots of things!
I highly recommend it to anyone who has a preschooler! Head Start is Nation wide. Go find your local Head Start! You'll be glad you did!
